One project down

I actually accomplished something this weekend:  I finished my office cabinet project.  Its been mostly finished for a few months, but the last bits of trim were missing.  In a final push this weekend, I got the rest of the trim installed, so now I can check that project off the list!

Photography Update - HP Photosmart Pro B9180

I got my new HP Photosmart Pro B9180 photo printer installed and running this weekend.  It works great.  I got it placed in the closet, got the power and network hooked up, installed the software and Adobe plugin, and made two prints.  First print was a color image that I have trying for weeks to print on my old printer.  I was never able to get the color to come out correctly before.  On this printer, it came out beautiful on the first try.  The second print was a B&W.  Any of you who have tried this know that B&W is much harder to print well than color.  The B&W print came out with amazing detail and smooth gradations of gray.  It especially did a nice job in the very bright areas like specular highlights.  I am very happy with the printer so far.  Next step is to try it on some art grade papers.
