Physics and my desk

I think that I have proof of matter being spontaneously created from the void!

Only about a week ago I had my desk almost entirely cleared off.  I had entered all my receipts into Quicken, thrown away all the junk, and filed all the important papers.  I even balanced my checking statements.  Now it is spontaneously covered with papers again.  I can only come to two possible conclusions:

    A)  I'm a slob
    B) The Big Bang is occurring on my desk!

I personally prefer to think that it is the latter.  Yeah, that must be it.

Gnomes

Nasty little clutter gnomes actually, I have caught one or two of them at their diabolical work of recluttering the surfaces in my house after I have cleaned them. There has to be a way to placate them, but I haven't figured it out yet, but when I do, mwuhahahaha!

Maybe sacrifices are the answer. Try sacrificing a gnome or two and see if they get the message!

I thought that the big bang would involve *clearing* the desk first. So it B had happened it should all be on the floor...

C) In the dead of night, when everyone in the house is asleep, pieces of paper sneak out, mate, and make more paper. And DAMN but they've got a fast reproductive cycle.

With the aid of a PaperMate, no doubt. I always knew that pen company was up to something nefarious!
