Floor diving update

Hint for all you young people: Keep your arms properly engaged in their sockets or you will regret it later in life!

The doctors said it was highly unlikely that I did any serious additional damage to my shoulder. They think I just tweaked it hard enough to agravate the busitis that I already have from an old dislocation. They said to give it 7-10 days and come back for X-rays if its not feeling better. They didn't want to do an X-ray today, since I just had a shoulder X-ray series in October showing that I have a pinched rotator cuff.

Maybe this will be the straw that finally gets me to pursue treatment for my shoulder, rather than just ignoring the period bouts of pain that I get.

Sorry about your shoulder pain. I can totally relate. I haven't ever dislocated my shoulders, but they ache constantly and I don't even know why. I can only imagine what dislocation and recovery would feel like. Does massage help at all? If so, there is this amazing woman in Davis.

Massage might help quite a bit. Chris is pretty good with injury recovery massage and he'll come to you (well, it's a package deal since I drive :) ). You have his number, right?
