That was awfully easy
Oct. 1st, 2007 08:24 pmAt 5:00 this afternoon there was a lovely 40ft redwood tree blowing serenely in the breeze outside my living room window.
At 5:30 the redwood tree was lying on the ground in my front yard.
By 8:00 there were three large piles of branches on the street for the city recycling to pick up, the lawn had been raked, the driveway swept, and my firewood pile had grown a bit. All was peaceful again.
Now my solar panels will get a few extra hours of sun each day.
Now I have a stump to dig out, and need to find a new, smaller tree.
