Damn that's alot of stuff for three days
Oct. 5th, 2005 10:22 pmI am finally ready to head out to Mono Lake for my three day photo
class. I have slowly gathered all the stuff I needed to take over
the past week. Wow is that a big pile. Clothes for 60
degree days ... clothes for 25 degree mornings. A small camera
case for my digital camera, a large photo backpack for my 35mm camera,
and a really large photo backpack for my large format view
camera. Plus all the little stuff like a light table, samples of
my work in print and in 4X5 transparencies (thus the light table), a
film changing tent, 68 sheets of 4X5 film and 7 rolls of 35mm film, and
on and on. Plus a cooler with 3 days of lunch food. Plus a
flask of 21 year old Balvenie single Malt (can't forget the important
stuff.) So much for any thoughts I might have been having about
not really needing an SUV as big as the Rover just for photo trips.
I am really looking forward to this trip. I'm sure I will have a great time. I'm also sure that I will very much miss my loving wife
aleeceh and
kellilorenz. I
am also very sorry that I will be missing a great party at
the_misha and
tiggrrl's.
