Nice day of Photography
Jun. 22nd, 2005 11:07 amSince yesterday was my birthday, I decided to do something fun, rather than go to work. Instead I went out to Folsom to exercise the new LF camera.
Got a bit of a late start because it took me longer than I had hoped to figure out how to fit the camera into a backpack! Just for reference, you can fit a disassembled rail camera into a LowePro SuperTrekker AW backpack! It requires removing the bellows and stantions from the rail, but it all fits.
I finally got out to the Salmon Falls trailhead about 11:30. Quickly found a nice field of wildflowers. After about an hour getting a couple shots there, I packed up and moved to a different trailhead. There I found a nice lone oak tree on the side of a grassy hill. Took a couple shots there then headed home about 3:00.
Stopped and dropped the film off at the lab on my way home, so will be able to pick it up this afternoon. Looking forward to seeing the results.
